DIY Cloche

Who can resist the beauty of a cloche?

They have a trans-formative effect on pots – turning the ordinary into the awesome.

The only issue with cloches are price – they are expensive.  Here’s a way to get around that without breaking the budget.

DIY Cloche

Look for vases at garage sales or thrift stores with large open tops.  Like this:


Then, tip it upside down and adhere a knob to the bottom of the vase using gorilla glue.  And Viola!  Instant cloche!

    I am listening to your podcast each day (sometimes 2 a day 🙂 ) while I am in the garden, starting from oldest to newest and I have always wondered about how to use cloches and when not to use them, etc. I do hope you have a podcast on them or maybe could make one. 🙂
