Stepping into the 2016 Bachman’s Spring Idea House you are immediately greeted by the signature color – which for this year is coral.
The color specialists at Hirshfield’s knew what they were doing when they picked the paint color for the room: Hirshfield’s 573 Chinz. The gray backgrounds throughout the house really helps the coral pop. They also carried this color into the Living Room and then used it again in the Master Bedroom.
The table runner had two layers: the bottom layer was the ceiling tin wallpaper featured in the sunroom with a coral fabric runner on top. The wallpaper looks so real that I actually reached out to touch it and then discovered the optical illusion.
The Bachman’s team put together another stunning tablescape including napkins folded into flowers in the wine glasses.
Here you see the faux ceiling tin wallpaper used as a panel treatment along on of the walls in the dining room.
The mirrors are look great stacked in a quad for this layered wall display, aren’t they?
The candles on the built-in buffet were wrapped with ribbon and silver floral wire – another great design touch.
I loved the custom radiator covers in the house which were all made with salvaged wood.
The curtain panels featured in the living room and dining room are custom from Hirshfield’s Shop at Home.
There was a coral flower arrangement in the hall table adjacent to the dining room next a little graphic sign that read “happy hour starts now”. So cute!
One last look from the living room across the way…
