Joel was born and raised on a tree nursery and crop farm in Southwestern, Minnesota.  Joel has a degree in Horticulture Science from the University of Minnesota.   He is a passionate, informed speaker.  His inspirational and educational presentation will inspire you to try this new and amazingly simple method of gardening.

Joel will be the featured speaker at Lynde Greenhouse & Nursery (9293 Pineview Lane North, Maple Grove) as part of the Maple Grove Days Garden Tour this Sunday, July 14th from 1pm to 5pm.  Joel will present on Straw Bale Gardening at the top and bottom of every hour during the tour.  The tour and Joel’s presentation are free and open to the public.
