Teaching Multiplication on the IPad using the MultiFlow App

PJ is starting to learn multiplication.  There’s only one way to do it – repetition.  Recently, I found an awesome app for multiplication.  It lets me pick just the numbers that PJ is learning and he can learn at his own pace.  It’s called MultiFlow.  Let me introduce you.

Here’s what the app looks like on your home screen:

After opening the app, select play.  (You can also track progress, too- which is where the “monitor” feature  is handy).
My favorite feature is selecting the particular numbers your child needs to focus on.

Then you just select the difficulty level.  The easy level is perfect for beginners.

Then the quiz starts.  Your child can either skip the question or answer it.

I just did a few sets with PJ tonight.  Much more interactive for him and less tedious for me (think flash cards).  Plus I can quickly identify the sets that are causing him trouble.
Here’s to learning multiplication on the IPad with MultiFlow…
